Garage Sale 921...No card

Hi guy's

I found an almost new 921 PVR with the dual tuners
at a garage sale. These folks are moving out and the lady said it did'nt work, Ah but it does.... Can't tell you how cheap it was. :D:D;) Anyway I brought it home and there is no access card in it. What are my options?

I know it needs a Rom103 card, and I do have one I got by mistake from milli (thought it was an open 102) Its a 103@300 Good ATR and it reads and writes AOK!

There isn't much info in the way of the Rom103 's here so can someone hook a brother up with the How To's or the What to do's?

Unfortunately you need the box keys off an ex-sub card as you can't JTAG these. I suggest you do this:
Find out what blocker lets you sub the card with Dish and still lets you to get back into it. Sub the card/receiver with DishNet either through me or direct with dishh then once they activated it cancell the sub, add your own tiers and blocker. With me you can't cancell the sub you are in for the 6 months but maybe dishnet lets you to if you go through them.

Very cool, I know you milli so I would go with you for the sub! but now I need to find the blocker or the method to do it(let me back in, or poach the boxkeys) that is.

any pointers?

Well I have one that does allow you to sub for a ROM102 but not for 103s. Try to read around rom10x.com please

AOK, I will/I'am. Nothing yet on the blocker for 103's that will let me sub though.

I'm thniking I'll just bite the bullet and go for the sub with you.
NFL network included correct? Espn etc. NO porn, No ppv I get that part.

What about the romcode for 103's Any good?

Well ROMCODE is a release candidate I have not tested it on a ROM103 (I got no dual tuner receiver myself) so I can't give feedback.
DishNet does not have an NFL ticket sorry. Also the ROM103 you got is UNLOCKED with intercept installed (I think) so you got to figure out how to remove that intercept before you can sub it unless you find a blocker that spoofs it.

10-4 on the rom 103 intercept removal for the sub, But I was not clear on the other part. Not NFL sunday ticket,I know they don't have it. What I meant was NFL network Its dish channel 145 I beleive and I'm sure you do have it.

So the 103 won't sub the way it is because of the intercept. Is this true,then how do I get it off? I bought 2 of these from you.
Can you say what was used to unlock these originaly or is that a trade secret :eek:


I got a call from the lady I bought the unit from she found the card that was in the 921 So I'm heading over there to grab it! Keep your fingers crossed that it's still good and readable. What do I do if it is? Should I just put it in the ird or try to open it up?

And now the bad News,

Its a rom103@309, Now what do I do milster? (I put it in the 921,w/out the dish connected and did the system info deal-o) DNA blah,blah,blah Como`say yama 309'r

Should I go with that or can you give me some input.
and what about those trade secrets? (grasiass,bweno~toe`chase) or should I stick to spanglish lessons ;)

that Cyclon POS finally gave up the ghost. @25ohms, a mushroom cloud emerged. :D does that Blue now in white do both 102's and 103's ?
