Basic Question

I am new to this.
I am doing ALOT of reading.
However, the issue of unlocking my 102 card is unclear.
How do you know if your card is locked? mY card is "ex-subbed".
I have an ISO programmer , can I unlock the card using the ISO programmer and some unlocking software?

More than likely your card is locked. If you can't read it, then it is locked. No you can not unlock a card using an ISO. You need a glitcher/unlocker. Read more here (http://dssftp.com/forum/f62-nagra-glitching-and-unlocking.html)

If I attempt to read the 102 card I have with my ISO programmer.... (to check if it is locked) will it loop the card if it IS locked?

No it won't loop your card. That's the only way to find out if the card is locked.
