I am following Bellexprss.vu's step by step to program a ROM 102 for a dual TSOP 508. After many attempts and a couple variations I'm still only getting the preview channels and 005 Nag on everything else. I've read Crazy's sticky that says it can be anything that is causing this.
I just got a dual TSOP 301.010 working and found out how to load Flash 1 and Flash 2 in GenDT08 to get it to work right. My issue is that I cannot get Flash 1 and 2 of my 508 TSOP saves to load properly in GenDT08. When I have the 501 config in GenDT08 set to dualtsop=0 GenDT08 only asks for one TSOP Flash and seems to load the TSOP information right no matter if I load flash 1 or flash 2. But when I set the 501 config to dualtsop=1 it asks for a 2nd TSOP flash when loading TSOP's in GenDT08 but the IRD info does not come up right no matter what order I load the flashes.
1. Does GenDT08 need both flashes of a dual TSOP 508 to generate right?
2. If so, does anyone have a GenDT08 508 config that loads both flashes correctly when set to dualtsop=1 and generates correctly?
3. If not, does anyone know how or tell me how or tell me where to find exactly how to build my own config for my own receiver? I have read the GenDT08 Read Me and it tells you how to build one and where the information is at but I do not know how to find the locations he is telling you to find the information at.
