Please help me on open ROM 102 Rev103

I really really need help on how to program open dish ROM102 Rev103, back in the old days I used to program Atmega but, not the ROM cards anyway, now I have IRD# and Boxkey# ready to use for programming, the old days you put in Key0 and Key1, Boxkey#, IRD# that is it. I have been reading a lot on how to program ROM102 but, it never say anything about using IRD# and Boxkey# anywhere, I know I am 80% close to watching TV again now I am stuck, can you please walk me through step by step on details on how to program ROM102, I am a rookie BIG time and so confused on what to do next… now what?

if you use free ware you will need to edit your ird info and use the freeware info, even private for that matter.

or if the card came with receiver you can open card and write your own info to card to get it going.

do you have a jtag and an iso to write card? you stated it is unlocked so you wont need an unlocker(yet)

OK! I use ISO programmer to read the card and already saved bin for future back up

I use NagraEdit5.1 and NagraEdit V2.55 to save the bin
the question I have is:

when I look for file to put on my card, Do I look for bin file or patch file ? I am really really confused, where do I input my boxKey and IRD nuber? please take it easy on me I am a little slow rookie but, willing to listen and learn...

0k....is your ird ..modded or not....? If you were useing the satvia's atmega progies it's prob pub,....so look for a aio=(All in one)...with the pub key's...and ird #'s I would have to search for them again...so I'll just give this advise...All the best....!!!

Look at the top of this page, right under where your user name is. Look for the picture of the yellow card and the title is 102 programming. There is a great how-to there.

I am new and I did it. I was lucky as I had a couple of cards married to two recievers. You can tell this if you put the card in the reciever, turn the TV On but DO NOT HOOK UP THE SAT, just the coax to the reciever. You should get something but not"INSERT VALAID ACCESS CARD". Got to menue,setup, install and look at information..if no info the card is NO MArried! Then find info on box keys and jtags.

If MArried: Go to Mili and buy you RomCODE subscription. AFTER you have a unlocked card and ready to program register your account (that is when you time starts on the subscription) . HAve unlocked card just follow their instruction exactally and you're done! I believe in using a IOS programmer only for safety reasons. Jst use there instructions and you'll be alreight. It worked great for me!! And like I said I am new to this!!!
