I bought a card and ISO programmer from Milli a month ago.First, i had com1 problem ,then i got fix that problem .After that, no ATR.I couldn't solve that problem for a week .Then we figured out, that ISO might be defected .So i send out ISO back to MILI.it took 2 weeks to exchange. i got replacement ISO programmer back and i am getting same freaking problem, NO ATR.But if put card into ird ,without sat feed, and leave for 30 sec. The card # comes up on the screen. Can some one tell me ,what the hell is going on? What is wrong with this card? Is this card is looped, or what.

Try putting a business card under the smart card when you put it in the ISO programmer. Do you have another card to try in the programmer? Good luck:D :)

software n2edit 2.56 and brand new 2.58 and old one 2.53.Same problem on all of them. The thing is if i connect direct ot db9 port ,i can't apply 9 volt power supplier, because it goes flash to PC back, if i used short adapter ,then i can attach a power supplier

#1 u sure card is in right way dont laugh it happens alot
#2 do you have acces to another card ie unlocked or not rom 10 even a rom3 try them with iso and an older ver of say nagraedit
#3 r u 100% sure the card is being placed all the way into the slot
those weree the simple ones
#4 check com port settings MAKE sure u are on right com port and also MAKE sure u are using correct type of cable there are 2 types straight throuhg and a null modem cable. (crosses over rx tx lines)
#5 are you using the correct pwr supply enough voltage and current i believe 9v 150-300 ma is sufficient AND check polarity this does matter on most
#6double check settings on the progs u are using and operating system ie comport settings
#7 Try different port try com2
If you do all this and cant get it working well .......

I am sure i am putting card right way.Yes i tried rom 10 same problem no atr.
In bios i set com3 but in divice manager i set to com1.If i set it up in com3, it say no connection to com3.
If i pull card out just little bit ,red light comes out.So i asume ISO is good.If i push all way in, red light goes of.
Power supply 9v, i am sure is good i have 2 of them to try.

You said that u tried a rom 10 and got no atr reading. Is the iso a duel crystal reader writer? 3.57 and 3.68. Make shure it is set right. You want 3.68 Also seen a few iso that just do not work on 9v step it up to 12v 300 ma (min). The iso red light will lite up but the unit will not work on 9 volts. I would bet this is your problem.
Hope this is some help.
