Test Results In----------were Having A Baby!!!!
________________________________________
MY 1ST MAJOR DESIGN AND BUILD IS A SUCESS!!!
THE UNIT ACTUALLY WORKS BETER THEN I THOUGHT IT WOULD
THE MAIN ADVANTAGES ARE
1-ACURATE INTIAL OHM SET WITHOUT FUMBLING FOR A METER AND TURNING POT WHILE HOLDING 2 LEADS
2-**YOU CAN ADJUST THE POT WHILE SCRIPT IS RUNNING AND KNOW WHAT YOUR OHMS ARE ACURATE SO U DONT JUMP AND LOOP YOUR CARD **LOOPS ARE 99% CAUSE FROM IRATIC VOLTAGES UP OR DOWN**
3-[size="4"]COMEONE YOU KNOW IT JUST LOOKS COOL
4- QUALITY POT 10 TURN 5K ALLOWS FOR ADJUSTMENT THATS NOT IRATIC AND JUMPY SMOOTH AND CONSTANT AGAIN FOR NOT LOOPING CARDS
5-ORANGE IS A WAY COOL COLOR
6-4619 CHIPS FOR ALL REVS
7-ADDED VIRBRATOR ATTACHMENT FOR THOSE LONLEY NIGHTS
8-INSIDE CALABRATION ADJUSTMENT TO MAKE SURE METER IS ALLWAYS ACURATE
9-AND DID I SAY IT LOOKS FREAKIN COOL
10-ITS THE BADEST KICKASS UNLOCKER I SEEN
11-OK ILL SHUT THE HELL UP
PLEASE WATCH THE ATTACHED LINK FOR A SLIDSHOW SHOWING HERE IN ACTION AND SUCESS AND GO HOME HAPPY
Took out your live link, It did not lead to image anyway = fubr

that is cool as shit nicky, wondering about the display you pull that out of a ohm meter or what? also the 10 turn 5k pot. that you got to go with the brake, where did you get that? I think I might do something like that to mine.

hey nicky, card in loader, power plugged in, ohms set at 200, but you forgot to plug in the cable man!!!! if you are glitching w/o a serial cable. YOU DA MAN!!! I'll buy 3!!. LMAO
yep looks good.
does case come in crimson?

i was considering doing something just like that, problem was wife wouldn't let me take apart the DVD player for the display, even though i guaranteed it would still work :)
very very nice looking

the meter/display from red lion is a lil costly around 35.00 there are some cheapo china ones from 10-20.00 but they suck
then u have to make a calabration circuit with resitors and 50 ohm pot
to display a conversion in ohms and its 100% acurate
the pot is a bournes

Nice, I would love to add the display to my 3 pound baby.
Update! Look what my 3 pound baby just got into, ya turn your back for one second and...
Let the 102 Glitching begin....

thanks
you know when i first had the idea i thought they would make a meter that reads ohms and u can run 2 wires to rts
holy shit was i wrong they only make volts and u have to well i guess u guys know electronics how u make it read ohms and then do it all in this lil case
man it took a while

can you post your circuit and connections to the nexus?

IM WORKING OUT SOME LAST MINUTE CHANGE'S
when im done ill post parts list and how to the hoe to will be good for any nexus and really any 4619 loader just diff case will make the cutout diffrent
i will tell you this if u thinking about doing itwait so u can learn from my mistakes i made in start
i found a big diffrence in lcd panel meters from 6$-55.00
and i found out why some are $6 the hard way
take into thought that the meters dont display ohm only volts
2 weeks i searched for a meter that display ohms
so the conversion from volts to ohms had to be done by hardware installed by me in loader and then display will show ohms once calabrated (only needs 1x)
but i tell u this if i set it to 220 ohms on display
i can check with my fluyke and my micronta bench meter and its exactly 220
THE SIMPLE FACT OF BEING ABLE TO GO FROM SCRIPT TO SCRIPT QUUICK AND IF IT DONT POP CHANGE IT INSTANTLY is worth it to me
feel free to pm me if u have ?
but i will give a how to soon

I remember measuring across a 100ohm resistor in school to get the approx current through a circuit...but that was a long time ago! I'm guessing you're measuring milivolts, but I don't see a decimal point in the display
I guess I'll pm you like you said...lol

I thought you needed to be unplugged to check ohms?? huh??
But it does look good!!!!

Great work Nick. Wish I had your skill.
By the way, have you guys found out what caused the infection that caused you to have the baby? ;-)

when the system is on you can measure current and voltage. using some new math...lol...you can calculate resistance

imagine that, MATH. hmm.... You know the guy that said there were no stupid questions....probably didn't get to my question yet.

correct
i HAVE TO MAKE A SECOND VERSION BUT FOR GOOD REASON
i cant post a exact how to
someone has offerd to buy my design
but like the above person said if you know basic electronics you can make the meter show the voltage as ohms with a resitor here or there
i went to college 4 1/2 years of elctrical and electronics and i think they taught that the first day
it a simple thing to do
well i take that back
its a pain in the ass
lol
but i ammaking a diffrent unit and post it

what is ohms law
I before E except after C.
no.. but seriously..
Current = voltage / resistance.. I = E/R.
convert as necessary.. if you can't, then use the 4=8/2 rule and set current as 4, voltage as 8 and resistance as 2.. then mix and match until the math is right..
4 = 8/2
8 = 4X2
2 = 8/4
SO.. by what you set your variables to...
current = voltage / resistance
voltage = current * resistance
resistance = voltage / current
Hope this helps ya :D
Great design, but if your cheap find a $10 ohmmeter and wire the leads directly to the pot.. same idea but not as cool looking. $50 displays for my $20 unit don't seem fesiable..
Is that backlit? be mint to get a backlit one.. you know for the times you have to unloop a card when the powers out... lol

OK U WANT A SIMPLE HINT
PUT A 1000K RESITOR IN THE MIX AND ANOTHER POT
Hope this helps ya :D
AND ANOTHER HINT IS YES I BOUGHT A 50.00 DISPLAY BUT IF U LOOK HARD ENOUGH U CAN GET THE SAME PRODUCT FOR 9$
