DirecTV 18" dish with DISH 2700 IRD

Hello,

My friend has a DirecTV 18" dish and wants to use it with a DISH 2700 IRD receiver. This reciever works on my setup, but does not at my friends setup. The "check switch" reports that no switch box was detected. Do I need a switch box and what kind? The DirecTV dish is pointed at the same position as when it was used for DirecTV. Do I need to change the dishes pointing position? Can I use a single LNB or do I need a double LNB on the DirecTV 18" dish?

you have to point dish at dishnet sat either 110 or 119 no switch needed but can pick only one sat or use 2 dishes and sw21 switch or dish500
