Sounds like the jtag is not assembled correctly.....

Check your connections to make sure they are all good on your connection to the reciever.

I was doing an 420 the other day where one of the pins wasn't soldered down properly (althouigh it looked good to the eye) and after remelting all of the connections it came up good. Also check your cable link.


When working with a KNOWN GOOD jtag the FFF useually means the wrong port and 000 useually means right port, not connected right.

0xFFFFFFF also can mean a short......but his description of the problem sounds like a jtag problem...
