811 Hooking up Passive Interface Card

Any help would be appreciated.

Have combed the forums for this information. Information is spotty at best. Attempting to use my 811 receiver. It was previously subbed with Mili's subscription. No one has definitively told me if I can still use it. Is it unlocked? It was previously subbed.

What do I need from Mili's store?

A passive interface card? If so, how do I hook it up?

An ISO Programmer 2? It seems extensive information has been written on the programming, but not too much on the hook-up.

Do I also need Rom Blocker?

THanks for the quick help. Trying to be patient with Mili... getting a little anxious, but biding my time.

I have Cardless Nagra2 Rom 102 Rev 287 (I believe). So you are saying that it is locked (but not blacklisted) still trying to read up on the difference between the two. I thought Rev 287 could be unlocked.... I thought I read that somewhere. Maybe I am mixing up saving the image first, putting in a new block out code, before the stream locks out the card(less).

Ok -- so my options are:

1) Get new receiver
2) Wait for Mili

Rev 287 is not unlockable at this time.. If it is, its only private..

Try to get rev284 and below.

Yes you need an iso to read it.. You can either make one with an old atmega card or use header pin. But that passive interface card is pretty slick..

Dreamers guide to the 811 how to is neat. I looped my 811 before I got to
use it. But I will get another one...LOL

The only guide I saw was programming one of Mili's 811 IRDs with passive interface card already attached.

If I rememer right, it was of a 311 not 811. Even though it said 811.. I think I
seen it the other day...huh

I was getting to aggressive with it.. I wasnt getting any good responses after days of glitching it..

So I got pissed, changed my dip to 1 upped the ohms and boom.. looped

Oh well.. Thats testing...LOL

Back to my two options

1) Wait for Mili
2) Obtain new receiver

Either way, you need another receiver for now..

Try to get one with a rev of 285 and down.. Or just buy one already opened..
