bev 3100 reprogram not working...

anyone having a problem reprograming there cams for 3100's, i tried the latest update, with the new keys and no good, still 317...what am i doing wrong...

inkredable1, did you try to change the channel? I ask cuz I noticed that after resetting the IRD (location ID), the IRD would power up on ch317. Then just simply hit the guide button & go...

thanks again for your help..im really green at this, and after what seems to be millions of pages read, no one said to change the channel...however it didn't work...317 was all i got...im really unsure of what it could be...

Your atmega caused you to get ECM'ed...you had no valid cam Id on that atmega!
You are now going to have to read up on how to fix an ecm on your reciever...I advice alot of reading before you try this process as you could end up with a "Doorstop"(Piece of Junk),you'll also need a Jtag....Try this http://www.dssftp.com/filedownload/download/bjtag102.zip
