How often has BEV been updating their software

The reason I ask is because I want to put softlock on a dish I wont be able to easily get to (ie lives across Canada).

I have taken the E433 software update for the 3100 and was going to put softlock on it.

I am just wondering how long it will run before tiers start falling off?

A year?
A month?

E433 is current now. How long has the previous software ran for?

I have only been at this for about 4 months now eh!

they are very random at updating their s/w versions,E432 came in...lasted maybe 3 weeks then E433....so it's a big gamble on your part if you want to softlock that ird,with no easy access to it...if ya want to lock it y don't ya put a dlock on?

Good Idea... Any recommendations on which dlock?

Basically there is only one on the market now as all the others have been compramised one way or the other....look for a dlock 4 as this now works well with Dish & Bev.

BEV have not gotten around the old type locks....yet. But Charlie has! The new d/lock is called digilock4.
