I live in the south texas area and have recently converted from dish to bev. I have noticed that i only receive some of the transponders , for example i can not get any signal at all on Transp 27. i am missing out on some good programming without these tranponders. ...Really only intersted in the HD stuff.
Can I use a bigger dish?
Right now i have just an 18" dish and my strongest signal is about 55 on sat 82, Will a 20" or larger dish help in receiving these transponders or i am just too far south? Thanks

18" dish aimed at 82 sat, legacy lnb, 6000 receiver.

I think you should be using the 33" down in texas. Most bev programming is on the 91 sat but the hd is on the 82.

yes, i had planned on pulling in both sat, 82 and 91 but i wanted to get the 82 going first to see if i could change from d*sh to b*v successfully. So........ bottom line Is it possible to veiw all B*v channels if the dish size is increased. I just want to make sure before I purchase one.
