ROM10's working again

Just popped a rom10 in and guess what. Wide open again. Looks like Dish isn't using the new map funtion any more. For how long who knows. Enjoy it now. Maybe a new REV coming our way.


EDIT: This would also mean that FTA's, Atmega's, ROM101, and any old type of hack would also be working too. Just tested the atmega and DVB. Back up on them too.

Must be something different between your rom10 fixes than mine, mine are still not working. Black screen on ppv and events. Maybe you could post a text version of your script and I could patch it that way if your still up and running.

Gotta update the keys in that one patch I think. This is for No RSA too. Probably gonna want to edit the tiers for the locals too. I have Buffalo locals on there. I set the expiration dates way in advanced too. So those are good to go.

Used my old program,all I had to do is update the new keys. Works perfectly! Just like the old days.

that sucks messed alot of my rom10's for putting BGA rom103 on them.... But have my pansat 2700 up an running now......cool extra IRD without card couldnt ask for more.LOL
Hopefully it last long enough for new hack on this pansat boxes........

Don't get use to it because dish is in the process of updating 102 cams to Rev 10B.....

Getting some info that d*sh is about to change the rev from 109 to 10B..

This is not confirmed, but they have been seen in the E3 packets..

I guess we will see in a day or 2
So watch tv for as long as you can because imo it will be gone by tuesday night.
Even FTA's are running but charlie has other ideas for that hobby...

I've been testing all my old scripts with no luck, then I seen you post this, so I said what the heck, I 'll try his.

For some reason your rom 10 image says it incorrect size for a rom 10, and defaults to rom3. Is the image important or is it just a clean rom10 image, as I have one of them? The 2 patch files have errors as most lines are left blank.

Try opening the "image.txt" as a patch and applying it to the card. of course you will need to have rom 10 image to apply that patch too.

Thats what it is, I was applying it as a bin instead of a patch. What about the other two patchs 1 and 2, they have errors when you load them, and when you look at the script the lines are left blank.

That's the line I added....except for the ED part.;) That was my problem too. It had been so long since I did a rom10 I had to go back through about 50 different .bins and patches to figure out what info went with what box.

tryin to use the patches for an rsa modded emu setup and havin no luck, got red guide except for ppv and pron, I have no clue how to get this goin. Is there a different patch for rsa modded ird's or am i doin somethin wrong?

You need to change the tier expiration dates. The fact that you still get PPV & Porn proves that.

I tried to make new tiers with dt tierworks and create an ep10 rom 10 patch and patch my rom10.bin and cemu exits as soon as i load the patched bin, i tried also to change the name of the ep10 patch to tiers.txt and modify the cemu.ini to look at the file and get red guide. If it makes any difference i used nagraedit 4.1 to do it and it doesn't see it as a proper rom 10 file which I expected, but it opens anyway. Here's my patch maybe someone could check it for me

I wish all of the free tv'ers would just die already asking the same frigging questions all of the time. Do some READING on your own and use the SEARCH function.
