bev receiver 5900

hi there !!

I got a bev receiver 5900 with the new card(bleu with yellow arrow) i'd like to know if it have a way to reprogram them or modify the receiver to have all channels if yes i'd like to know all the exact thing that i'll need and how to do it !!!

For starters, to put down exactly what you need to do would be futile. You really need to do some reading on the following:

card type and how to tell
vid mod
0j1 mod
jtag connections for the 5900
tiers

This should be enough to get you going. If you get stuck on certain parts along the way, people would be more than willing to help you out.

dont now about your 5900 but mine came with a rom 102 rev 240 i just let bell turn it on then puled the card still at rev 240 had all channal opened in 10 min but if it came with sw04 card well then you have som work to do

how do i know what rom it is and what rev ???

The last question is a very very newbie question. If you do not know the answer to that then I fear you are really in some trouble here. I suggest you take the time and read through the newbie forums.

Start there and find out just what is involved. From there, take the time to read further and get aquainted with the amount of knowledge you are going to need to get things to the way you want them.
