It's to late to join DN hacking game?

It's was fun with DTV hacking back in the days. I still have DTV, but handing dave $160 a month is a little too much. Well if it wasnt for nfl sunday tickets, i would have join DN way back!

I would like to switch to DN for the hacking enjoyment and free porn. am i too late to the game?. Is DN going to switch to something like p4 or p5 like what directv did?. i dont want to get in DN hacking game for a month or year and then BANG...pulling the cards update crap.

You can get the NFL sunday ticket on BEV for free.. Everything you need to know is here, you just need to help yourself. It's up to you if you want to take plung. Sdaly, i can't belive I'd ever recommend this, a FTA receiver might be a good way to get your foot in the door. Right now viewsat is the way to go. But your best bet is to get a rom 102 card and go plastic. If you don't know what I'm taking about, read read read.

I wouldn't even bother with a FTA unit. Chances are they will be down again in a couple of days causae of this new rev update. I would go with plastic. Get yourself a rom102. I really think FTA is going to have a hard time staying up for extended periods of time from now on.

and we will be without tv soon if DN has their way. the best investment is in a fta receiver because if you can't get DN you can still watch tv on other sats

That is true, you can still watch TV with an FTA ..... But...... Do you want to watch what you don't want to see? Buy a 102 card, your best bet!

That statment is false..As of now there is no sunday ticket, the channels show up in guide, but RED . Won't figure that out untill some1 logs a real sub who has sunday ticket.

Unfortunately you can't get NFLST on bev as they have done something to prevent this from happening.

I almost fell off my chair when you said that you'd recommend an FTA vmod!!! :D :D

i guess im going to down grade my DTV package and keep NFLST for my football fixs. should i call DN and order two rooms HD receivers package?. i would like to DIY way but living in a three families house, 40 feets drop and 45 degree roof is not going to work.(casue im a pussy when it come to height) i have some DTV installers backout of the job because of the roof when i first moved in.

i thinking of odering DN HD package and then order 102 cards and programmer/unlocker from milli.

any suggestions would greatly appreciated

well if you call DN and order stuff from them you will unlikely get anything you can modify. you (being a begininer with Dish) should get a receiver that has a j-tag port and a rom 102. I would reccomend getting a matching rom 102 and ird with j tag port. this way you just get card unlocked and then reactivate your ex sub ... for the easiest way you need an ex sub I don't condone ebay but that is where you will find the most choices. garage sales are the safest but if buying a whole ird and card ebay is okay too. just be careful... make sure you read up on j tag receivers. and I would ask before you by (one of us here) to make sure your not tossing money away!!

Personally,I think its a good ideal to have more than one choice,The Veiwsat is still the only box up and running w.out a card.I have several.Including my sub-w/NFL ticket.. All up and running fine.DN has the map 57 completely out of the stream right now,so any old receiver can watch TV.Even N1. But updates take about 3-4 days by friday the stream will be active again and Veiwsat will be the only box still alive.Your choic,a sub is always a good ideal,plus a veiwsat as a 2nd box,and there cheap. BUY the Extreme.

Do you work for Viewsat or have an immense amount of shares in that company?

Caddylover is right, do not go buying ANY FTA receiver now days.....unless your planning on watching only true FTA feeds. You will need a rom card and ISO at the least if you want to hack Charlie or Bev these days. Sure, FTA and emulation are working right this second, but it won't last long.

I'm not clear on what you are looking to do: do you need more than one DN HD?
I, personally would get their 811 for your sub and then if you need two other IRDs pickup the 301.010 as it has the JTAG port and they are reasonably cheap on EBAY w/o a card. Then from mili get two of his 102chip cards (same as ROM102 card but less expensive), a JTAG and an ISO programmer.

If you need HD TV for more than one then get them from mili with the interface and let DN supply you with a 311 or whatever for your sub.

why would anyone waste money on a 811.....Dish won't even sub a 811...wake up..LoL...the 622 is the way to go..it's H\D..and has the PVR ...811 is gonna get you 15 H\D channels and you have to be an engineer to program the *F*ing thing..'..and the pic quality suck's....it's that simple.

With the new rev update also comes new mapcall routines. That means your VS most likey won't be working when the update is complete.

I wouldn't buy any fta unit at the moment.

I just subbed an 811 two weeks ago and use it to watch regular and HD channels on a non HD tv. There is nothing wrong with that box for the money. You get about 7 more channels with the 211 or 622 now but when the swap comes to MPEG 4 all bets are off.
They are happy to sub any cardless IRD and have no qualm subbing an 811.
