Mili 811 and 921 question

hi everyone, i'm thinking about laying out some bucks to pick up EITHER Mili's modded 811 or 921 HD receivers.

I'm a little confused as to the future of these receivers, though.

If an ECM comes down, will it potentially render either or both of these receivers useless, since they cannot be JTagged? I know the 811 is cardless and the 921 uses a 103 card. Does this make a difference in terms of how each receiver might be affected by and ECM?

Before you lay out your big bucks, I suggest you do your home work and understand everything thats involved in prgramming a rom 102 card and a rom 103 cards. Rom 103 cards are not as easy to deal with as rom 102's as there is less information out there on them, but that does not mean it's impossible.

Both those receiver are being phased out by dish as they are not mpeg 4, but should be able to get everything they get now for a long time coming, but new HD channels will most likly be mpeg 4 and they will not be able to receive them.

I'd strongly suggest you think twice on both the 811 and the 921.....first off there a bitch to program....and last but not least ..there's not much H\D mpeg2 that's even worth the effort...ohhh and the mpeg2 pic quality suck's...LoL....PM me...I'll sell you a 811 ready to roll....I'll even keep the private bin I have on it for ya...
