View Full Version : 301.10 using own bks and info error in updated tsop

hi
I am trying to use my own bk and ird number for 301.10. what I did is as follows:
1:jtag and save tsop bins. found out the software version was p214
2. opened up the saved bin in flash edit 2.9 beta and it opened up fine.
3. so updated the ird by putting it in stream to p248.
4. now i am getting an error when i try to open up the updated tsop bin in flash edit 2.9 beta.
the reason i am trying to open up the bin after updating it to make sure its working so i can proceed to next step which will be genedit.but flash edit wont let me open it in beginner mode my tsop bin.
:( my question is it normal for it to do that and will it be a problem when i proceed to next step (gentedit) with the tsop bin that doesnt open in flash edit.?????:confused:

if you have a bin file that you want to run on your 301.010 all you need to do is open the tsops in flash edit change the ird number and boxkeys in it and fix the crc so it is green. then save them and rewrite them back to the ird. make sure when you rewrite them you first erase on then reprogram that one then erase the other then reprogram that one. never erase both at same time and do not lose connection during the write process.

it is not nessaccary for the tsop to be updated when you first rewrite them with your info becasue one of the nice things when using your info is that the ird can update with out problem. so after you put your numbers on it you can let it update then..
