dish is always down

my dishnet is always down... can anyone teach me how to get it up and running on my own??? a few friends gave me the #s but i dont know what to do with them... i need help so if anyone can get back to me thanks alot

what kind of card?
You got a ISO programmer?

What numbers dud your friends give you?
Have you ever had Dnet on this set up before?
