I know that right now Dish is working cardless but I don't get any BEV, with or without 4x1 DISEqC switch when I try cardless but I do get some BEV programming using Auxed card method.

I have a coolsat4000 that I have set up for BEV. My location is in the LA area ( Cali) I have installed bin128, auxed a rom102, and have signal strength at 91 for sat 91w (BellExpressview 91w is displayed in upper right corner of dish pointing screen). I deleted all channels and did a database reset. I have done auto scan and get most channels except porn, some PPV, and no premium movie channels. A blind scan gives me more channels but still no porn and movie channels.

Am I missing something in my procedure, such as using a channel list? Also, how do I get BEV and Dish together on this coolsat?

You have to also scan the nim 82 sat...you will then get about 22 cchannels of porn and all the ppv's......

LA is pretty far south for bell. You might need a bigger dish to pick up more channels. I am a couple hundred miles north of you. I'm using a 18"x24" and still can only get about 3/4 of the channels above 70% signal strength.

Thanks for the reply. I had read also that peeps in SoCal were not getting very good signal for 91 but using a dish500 @ 24 inches I am getting signal strength at 91. I thought that I was on the wrong sat but the dish pointing menu does give me sat 91 in the upper right. Do you agree with the other respondent that I have to have sat 82 to get those missing channels? Lyngsat does not indicate that as the case.

No, satellite 82 has the high definition channels and the International Channels. The movie channels and the porn are on 91 . All I can suggest is a bigger dish.

Deltaforce-you have made this thread clear as mud. I am in the GWN and have 1 dish pointed at Bell 91 and get all the PPV, Adult channels etc.

No you do not need a channel list, I find I get a much better result just doing an autoscan, I get less duplicate channels than using blind scan. When doing the autoscan, be sure to select all three sats 91, 110 and 119 before scanning, then you should see the scan start scanning each sat sequentially, and if you have the BEV setting to offset by 1000 all your bev channels should be in the 1000 range with some dish below and some dish (locals mostly) above the 5000 range. Obviously you should have done a factory set after flashing with the latest bin, and then set the sat settings correctly for each sat before doing the autoscan. Be sure that you see the correct sat banner when checking sat settings, in each screen.

Thanks for all your help guys. I am at my wits end here. Since I can get everything on 110 and 119, I disconnected them and focused on 91. I have tried every option and setting combination and still can't get all channles to work. I don't have an LNB set for sat 82. Lyngsat shows mostly hidef there so I didn't set it up. Also, after channel scans, the scan inicates 275 channels were stored but there are not 275 channels when I go through to check what's there. The channels are all listed above 1000. I can get the Venus preview channel, sextv, and playboy in the 1740 channel range and only a handfull of PPV. The quality bar during scan indicates between 69% and 94%. I live in the Los Angeles, Ca area. If there is anybody in the SoCal area with a working setup, PLEASE HELP!!!!!! :-)

I have fortec classic.from the last week I havent seen any dish network channel.Is there any key update for this and secondly with my receivor how can I watch BEV

Hey guys,

Sorry to go off topic a little bit but this seemed like the most relevant thread. Are there any dishes that will pick up all the channels on both Charlie and Bev? (not counting HD or internationals)
