I don't know what else to call it but q squib. I am running a couple of coolsat 5000 receivers (details in sig.). In the one in my office i have noticed an occasional squib or distortion in the audio. It is like how the audio acts at the beginning of a rain fade. It seems to happen about three or four times per hour especially on Charlie channels 200 and the 240s (SID)
I have checked weather, connections and signal strength. all are good.
