Viesat newbie

It this possible?

I triying to set a Pansat 3500 and a Viewsat Xtreme.

Have dish 500
Double twin Legacy LNB'S
Two 4X1 switch

Switch 1 for Vewsat Xtreme

119 set to port 1 from LNB 1 left side
110 set to port 2 from LNB 2 right side

Switch 2 for Pansat 3500

119 set to port 1 from LNB 1 left side
110 set to port 2 from NB 2 right side

I have tried different ways but I can not get both sats in the viewsat . IMy 3500 works, but sometimes sat disapperars, I have use my 3500 Pansat with no problems , once I added the Xtreme box nightmare started.

Any advise will be appreciated.

thats a tuff one, im trying to visualize it, so you have a 500 which has a build in switch and then connected that to a 4x1 switch?

you need a dish pro lnb and just connect one side to one box and the other side of the lnb to the other connector and you will be good to go

for dish 500 twin legacy system with switch use switch 21 cuz the inbuilt switch tend to have problem running with disceq switch. I'm using switch 21 i'm getting channgel but it is all messed up getting it in double and triples. Tried all resetting....every other possible way but same issue....I think it the box itseld...fuc*** up box. Trying to resolv from last two week but still haven't figured out.

Thank you for your reply. You mentioned in your post that I only need a Dish Pro LNB, but I have two boxes and 2 sat 119 and 110., What do you mean is
one double or one single DP LNB. What if I use two doubles LNB's from an eliptical DTV sat.

What if I wanted to add another bird to the 4X1 swicht with the DP LNB , it will work?

You have a fatboy twin legacy lnb?
You would not use a external switch....
You would hook up fta just like a 2 dish receivers, run coax from the lnb directly to each receiver.....
In the menu of each receiver....select lnb type as legacy twin...select diseqc switch port 119 to 1, 110 to 2

Thank you for the reply . I will buy the DP and tried. What if I wanted to add another bird to my receivers.
I have a Linear LNB for 121. What if I wanted to get BEV 91, What LNB should I buy.

Sulten, Nice Info ,wath about these:

- 1 double lnb legacy 110-119 going to swicth 2x1 then to port one in switvch 4x1
- the second double LNB 110-119 going to another 2x1 -then port 2 on the same 4x1 swicht.

Do you think it will work?
