I'm interested in setting up a FTA in nothern Italy (Near Florence) so I'd have something to watch when visiting my dad. ( I'm tired of watching 3 channels of RAI).
Where could I find information on what programming (and equipment) is available to me? I would assume that there are at least some British channels available.
Thanks for any info.

Here you go http://www.lyngsat.com/europe.html Click on the sat and if its say's DVB in yellow those are the free one's. Now dont forget five Digit Num on the left side tell's you that is Ku Band and you will need a 30" dish or biger. And the four digit num is C band and I dont think you could bring a 6' to 10' dish on the plan hehe
Local Freq for LNB is 10750 With liner eye

Thanks Crow for that info....the info on that site is amazing.
You don't think the dish could fit in the overhead bin ? :)
Luckily, prices in Italy on satellite equipment seem reasonable.
