Is there any good pictures or drawings i want to cut out my 311 chip and mount it on ATmega -I heard cutting it out was easier but i would do it either way need to know how to wire it up.

Here is one I did to a atmega. The pads on the bottom are the ones used in the iso. I also flood the chip with hot glue after I have tested and determined I have a good atr.

Thanks- my ATmega is EFA it is alittle different then yours you took your chip off the card before wiring?My crad is black 128 efa with 8 and 16pin programing will it make a difference if i wire it the same as yours?

Yes you would have to take chip and componets off board. Here is another one I have done.

Fibrechunk--Good pictures, but I can't see the 311 chip orientation or the exact places to solder the wires. Could you show a diagram with this info, I have two 311 chips I would like to mount to atmegas---thanks in advance--kayakidiot

Can I ask you guys what's the point of doing all this...can this be programmed like ordinary atmega or we still need unlocker. Has anyone confirmed that it is working like this way before altering 311 IRD.

You still have to unlock the chip with a unlocker. Having it done this way you just slide the card in your iso and program. Personally I like leaving the 311 chip onboard and making a networking connection in the back of the ird to program. The 322's I do like doing it this way. Personally choice is all that matters.:D

how do you wire up to unlock the rom102 and the rom 103 and leave the chip on the board with the networking setup. any info or pic's ... thanks:confused::):):cool:
