Well i don't have a 508 but I think you need to do a vid mod. Not sure but once you can j-tag it change ird and boxkey numbers to the public ones, and remarry your hard drive. Download a public bin with the new codespace blocker (I am using gophers) open nagra2edit unlock, read, clean, open bin, write to card. Oh and if you are planning on using the 102 card from your subscription, you can't. It is at rev 10b and can't be unlocked. You need an unlocked rom 102 card, mili sells them here! Well good luck

the card i have for the pvr501 is a rom 102 card.
As long as the revision is at 108 or less you can use the rom 102. Since it is currently a SUB it will be at a rev higher than 108 like 109 or 10B... You still need the card for the 501 but prob will NOT need the vidmod.

You also need to have an unlocker. Mili sells them if you don't have one. Good luck
you already have a card married to the ird. Don't use a public bin. Just open your card. SAVE THE ORIGINAL BIN!!!! and update tiers and install blocker.
No need to jtag or remarry hd if you use a subbed or ex-subbed card/ird pair.
Now if it were me, I would jtag that existing tsop to save it along with your original card bin. These are the magic pair that will work together. VERY good to have. No need to vidmod just to read the tsop. If you ever get your ird hit with a tsop corrupting ecm, then you will have to vidmod it and write your original back to it.
very important to save your tsop and card original bin files somewhere safe as they are a married pair and have value as such.
