DP 301.10 Black Screen after flashing

Hi all,

I am trying to do flash Dp 301.10 with two flashes and after programmng both of them I get a black screen when power it on and hook up the Video cable to my tv.
Here is what I am doing.
I am saving both flashes 1 and two in Jkeys 2.9.0 , then go to Flashedit and change IRD number and Box keys for the public ones used by penga ( IRD# 011... and Box keys 8C A6 ... ) then I save it as a personal dump , then I make a virgin eeprom and enter the number from the sticker from the mother board and save it.
Then back to JKeys2.9.0 and erase both flashes U22 and U23 and program them accordingly making sure I program flash 1 with new U22 and flash 2 with new 23 and then I program the Virgin eprom I created.
The I hook up the receiver and get power for a few seconds but never get the info screen nor the acquiring satellite signal message. All I am getting is black screen . My hook up is correct (video in and out) Since my other box when switched gets the info screen just fine. What could be the problem ?? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I for sure did not mix flash 1 with flash 2 so that is out of question. I am using Software p248 , maybe it is too old ???
Pease help if you might know the problem.

No o in the Box Keys ? zore only 0

Never erase both flashes it at than time.
do (1) 222 erase, erase, erase, put new one in
do (2) 223 erase, erase, erase, put new one in
write EPROM

Are you suing the right keys ?
do a switch check you won't get anting until you do.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I for sure did not mix flash 1 with flash 2 so that is out of question. I am using Software p248 , maybe it is too old ???

I have a friend basically working this same problem with same IRD.

He did get an error when using jkeys "DQ5 Set" and if you use that for a search in this forum it will lead you to some good info regarding your problem.

The following is from other forums I found helping him....

did you know when you mod your flashes with flashedit that they are reversed...in jkeys write moded flash #1 to flash #2 and moded flash #2
to flash #1 and you will be fine,i had same problem for a few days was going nuts...lol

Grounding pad 1 also works GREAT. Has got me through almost all of these little bitch 301 recievers.
Remember, erase flash 2, then 1, then load 2 and then 1.

Funny thing id that I can get into the IRD with Jkeys with no errors at all. I tried to flash this stupid receiver for 3 times now and still get black screen. I erased flash 2 U23 first and then programmed, next erased flash 1 U22 and programmed. Lastly programed my Virgin Eprom. Still black screen. I had been erasing and programming the flashes for the third time. One thing I noticed that was odd was when I went to flash programming button in J Keys 2.9.10 I did not get a message to remove power from IRD and put it back on within 3 seconds or to short pin #1 The flash screen came up by itself and I did not have to do anu of these steps that usually appear when I do different models. So i can get back to the receiver with no problems or errors with my J Keys. Black screen all the time. My yellow Card is OK because I am using a different receiver and get all the channels with no problem. Any Suggestions ?? I appreciate all help.

the best J-Keys for 301.10 is J-Keys 2-9-11-26

Never hear of doing it backward, it won't work, the IRD# & Box keys in only on the (2) 223

YOU ONLY SHORT THE 301.13

Doing the the 301.10 can destroy the IRD

You have the same IRD # & Box Keys on both ?? That the only way it will work
