How do I get locals?

Hey Guys,

I want to know how i can get locals and also what are the "local" channels

I have a Fortec lifetime ultra receiver... what do i need to do: scan? load an old bin?

please help me out!

Can't get any locals myself using coolsat 5000 but I am cardless. Last time they were in the 5000 to 8000 range, now nothing is working.
