I found 2 recievers with accress cards and this is what she said

Hi, it's a 301 receiver. The access cards say Dish 500
on the front, and on the back the serial number begins
with S 00. Let me know if you have any more questions.
We actually have two receivers for sale. If you're
interested in both, we'll take $80 for both. Both are
301 with the same access card type. We are home
tonight if you would like to see them.

My question is if it s Rom102 cards then are those the numbers i should be loooking for ( ones in Red ) or is there other numbers i need on the back of the card? to really find out if they are 102's and the Rev

If they have rom 102's that's a way-good-deal.

The best way to find out is to reset the card in N2Edit but you probably won't be able to check them that way. The next best way is to look at the card on the chip side and look in the lower left corner. If the number is 1020001P0x then they are more than likely 102's.

Thanks Texas Trophy

I have one other question, i sent this person a pic of the rom102 card that is on this site and she said yes thats what the cards look like so hopefully these are 102 and im getting a great deal on them for 80 bucks for both cards and recievers.

here is my quesiton, when i get them and i want to find out what rev they are i know you can look at the rev by looking at the install setup or something like that but if i hook up the recievers to the stream it wont ruin anything will it? like updating the cards or anything?

i have included a picture on what i am talking about when you can look at the rev when the reciever is plugged up you know, but i dont want to have them update and ruin the cards or anything.

Hook the receiver to the tv, but don't plug in the sat cable. That way you can hit the info button and check the card's rev without updating them.

Yeah what Titus said. That is actually the best/easiest way to find out.
