Hello all, I am currently subbing to dish with
a Dp Plus 322 (on 2 tv's) and a 311. Both receivers are
on a Super Dish through a multi switch.

Like so many others products were purchased
for testing to only have it work a few weeks then
become obsolete. Such products like Guardian 2, Rom3,
Rom10 and AVR-X.

Tested receiver was a 301.10, but know looking
for a easy and more stable way to test. With the
current setup is ROM 102, Rom103
or FTA the way to Go.

Thanks

I've tested with MagicCard, Atmega, AVR-X, Armulator and now ViewSat Xtreme FTA.
I have to say that the ViewSat Xtreme is my favorite.
I get both DN and BV at the same time.
And setting up custom channel lists with Channel Master is easy and a lot of fun.
And I have my PC hooked up to the Xtreme with a long serial cable so I never have to unhook the receiver to do upgrades or channel list downloads.
Lots of fun!
Works great!

Is theis more stable than a ROM 102/103 and will extra equipment be needed?

Thanks

Nothing is more stable than a rom 102.

Get yourself an open rom 102 and start testing.

If you can find one at a reasonable price!

Get yourself on 103 / 103 and test with the 301.10
It will last longer that any thing else, and is cheaper

So the ROM 103 would work on a 301.10, and if so is a special iso programmer needed, or can the one used on a rom 10 work just fine?
