I have been looking at the Dish1000plus.
it picks up 110,118.7(fss Lnb),119, and 129.
here is my question.
i have an invacom lnb that will pickup ku band on a 40" Dish
i plan on aiming the invacom at 118.7(fss).will it work as a fss lnb compatible with a Sw44.or are the 105-118.7(fss)LNB's that dish uses different than a KU band LNB.
will my KU band pick up 118.7(fss)
i plan on adding it(instead of buying the Dish100plus) to my Dishnet system-not FTA
thanks.jmf38

Your KU lnb will pick up 118.7 and will work with a SW44. However, the SW44 only supports 2 sats and 4 receivers. I suspect you want to use a DPP44, 4 sats and 4 receivers, but your KU lnb will NOT work with the DPP44. Your lnb is a "legacy style" while DNs lnb is a DP style (capable of band stacking). You need to have all legacy equipment and only SW switches will work with your KU lnb.

Yes, if you have the fss lnb from a superdish 105 or 121, that lnb is DP compatable and would work. You might even be able to pick up a complete superdish and just use it to point to 118.7.
