Cut the trace and apply 5v to FP and try again, ignore the dev panel routine with 5v to FP it is not needed, also use jkeys 2.0.1 or 2.9.10 only, NOT 2.9.9

yes ground BFR but ignore dev panel and don't worry about light being off, it don't matter with 5v to FP.

maybe, but I doubt it......

Lets see where you are at......
does it recognize the device with jkeys????
if so....
does it erase completely??
jkeys should say "awaiting erasure " or something to that effect, then when you go to program it should check to see if flash is blank and will report if it is not.......what happens in these steps??

SOunds like jkeys is having an issue with you PC or parallel port, do you have another pc to try it on??
