You will need at least a 30" dish and a standard/universal linear type (KU Band) LNB for picking up true FTA. I am not sure about the VS2000 supporting Diseqc 1.2, I dont have one, but I think it would work fine since it is a FTA receiver. If you check in your satellite system settings, you should see something in there about Diseqc 1.2 or USALS, either one will work. I have a coolsat 6000 with linear and DSS LNB's mounted on a 33" dish with a SG-2100 motor. I can pick up everything from 53 - 148 degress sats. That includes Dish, Bev, FTA, and receiving some channels on FTA that are normally scrambled as well. Its a pretty sweet setup with only one dish and receiver. I hope this helps. Goodluck!
