You need to change your graph. Usually cyberlink works good.
I assume cyberlink is some sort of addon...and if so where would I go to get it?
thanks

If you can find powerdvd that will install this codec for you. Then you will be able to choose this graph.
Thanks for the tip. Got sound and video now, I had a copy of powerdvd that I got with the the dvb card when I bought it.
But half the screen shows too much green. Any ideas other than a fu#%ed dvb card? (see attachment)

I have no experience with these cards but are you using an older computer? Does the device manager show any problems? The new pci standard is 2.2, check the Bios and the status of the pci slots...if it mentions 2.1 that could be part of the scenario.
Of course the card is seated firmly and properly and all the cables are OK.........then what about the TV/monitor..........colour correction settings, video mode(s) etc., does the problem cycle on and off on a timed or regular basis or just helter skelter? Does the problem show up at first or after a few hours??
Are both cards by the same manufacturer and if so are there date codes???
PS when it goes green, is it raining out (thinking signal quality)??
hopefully the above may be of some help to track down the problem.

Try changing the Video Rendering and Restart MT, [Turn it off - Then back on] anytime you change the AutoGrap settings.. You might have to mix the Decoder and the Rendering. ...... If the card has decoder hardware on the board - use the Hardware; not an AutoGraph. My Nexus-s did the same thing a few times with me. I does not like MT (certian versions) set at some of the AutoGraph settings. I got about the same thing a few times and sometimes I'd get a screen split in half...upper part green and regular video in the bottom.
Good luck testing !
