newbie question

just getting started and have a 301 013 with a virgin rom102 rev103.I think i have the plastic part figured out and was wondering about the ird.I read that if the ird has 2 tsops that it doesnt have to be viv modded,how do i tell if it had 2 or 1?could really use a picture showing the difference.thanks to all....oh btw is there a guide on how to solder anywhere here?

The 301.013 is indeed an ird that can have one or two tsops. If it has one, it's the single tsop, if two chips, it's the dual tsop version.

Do a search here for 301 single or 301 dual or 301 tsop to find more info.

The file area has plenty of mod files regarding 301 as well. Gunther's Guide or Dudeman files are both excellent and have info for both single and dual tsop models.
