changing channel problem???

I am using romcode and have updated the keys and have all channels coming in. The problem I have is strange. While watching a channel(any channel) if I try to go up(or down) instead of going to the next channel it changes to the system info screen, if I go up again it goes to the 2nd channel up(242-244). It goes to the info screen every time I channel up or down even if I'm on the channel guide or in the setup menu. I can put in the numbers manually and get all channels it's just aggravating and strange!! Thanks for any info.

hmm very odd tryed diffrent remote? what kind box? sure batteries in remote good they can act weird when low.

How do you update the keys?

OK- I got it right. I opened the card and wrote the original image back to it. I then added the keys and wrote romcode and all is right again. The only thing I can think of is that when I used DT tiers to get the Keys and patched them to the bin it rewrote something else that the IRD did'nt like.

1 clean the card with romcode program
2 open nagraMaster and read the image
3 at the bottom of the nagramaster program it shows the keys- double click on them and it will open an edit box.
4 after saving the correct keys- write that image to the card
5 reinstall romcode 3m and you should be good to go.
