In this age of instant communications and the internet, WHY do we still need the Senate and the House of Representatives ? They get little accomplished, they spend like drunken sailors (yes even the so-called conservatives), they give themselves raises every freaking year, have better bennies than anyone else in America while trying to cut the crumbs that the ordinary folks still manage to get, and when they finally do pass a bill, its loaded with 55 other bills tucked in which no one ever reads until the press asks WTF are you all doing ?
Yeah, I know the net can be hacked :D , but maybe thats not so bad anyway. I think we'd get more than 20 or 30% of the voters to actually vote, and with a mouseclick a day, or week, we can keep things moving along...and no lobbyists either :)
Besides, just think of the fun we can have with the newbies !:cool:
