IRD 921 with Rom 103

I got IRD 921 with Rom 103 and I opned card but Card is virgin no info regarding IRD now I want to activate IRD and I need activation blocker if anybdy can help me out I would really appreciated

You need to put a blocker on your card and subscribe your receiver to d!sh.
After D1sh sends the sub packets and marries your card to the receiver you can cancel your sub. Next read cam and save it . Now you can do what you want with the card.

There is no way to jtag a 921 so if the receiver has never been subed it will not work.

If you know some one in the States that can sub for you . You could sell it or trade plus $ for a x subed unit.

Yardy - You cannot unlock 30B .... only 300-308 can be done.

I posted this blocker over at the X. Some of the people there need to grow up. If you would like to follow my instructions and post your results, Here ya go;

The blocker I am using is posted in the fileshop at the X. It was written by goltv. I used it for a while on my 921. It worked fine. All I changed in the blocker is line $A040. There I added several more emm's to pass. I used it tonight and activated a 921. It worked perfect. That is the fourth 103 card I have done with this blocker.

Use N2Edit 2.58. Read the card, save the image as virgin, clean the image, apply the blocker and write to the card. Always check to make sure to image is locked. Attempt to read it again. It should fail

Make sure your receivers software is a L278. Hook both leads directly from a D*shpro twin or quad lnb pointed at 110 and 119. Perform a switch check. Make sure that the check is successful and you can see all green in the switch matrix screen for sats 110 and 119. Cancel out of all the screens and go to the guide. Get to the info channel 101. Sometimes this will take a few minutes. The header will show, but no picture. When you can see the channel 101 call in your R00 and S00 #'s to Chucky. If the software is not updated you will not see channel 101 for a long time and the activation will not take affect.

Now you need to call the activation into Chucky. Say High for me.

After a few minutes, sometimes twenty. You will see a message on the screen that is # 128. Your receiver is now being authorized. If not, hold in on the power button for ten seconds and then let it reboot. Run another switch check and wait again. When the message dissappears, pull the card, unlock it with EDEDEDEDEDEDEDED, read the image and save it as a .bn102 file. Open the file with GenDT08 and you should see the P and Q populate. The file is at dssftp in the 103 section. Good luck,

I have a 921 with a 103 30b. I also have a 103 at rev 300 thats unlocked .can I put this blocker on the 103 thats unlocked and call dish and sub it and get the keys off it.

That is the idea. The process is complete. I am currently working on some other methods of activation, but right now I would like to exploit this. You are in touch with a tester. I am not a coder. I do have access to a lot of stuff to play with.

The admin. at the X has gone to hell. Much like CC. I would really like to start some threads here to help poor mili out. LOL.

and after it is authorized and unlock the card, do you add the tiers to card?

All you need to do is patch the blocker just the way it is to the virgin image and write it to the card. After activation usually one of the keys are missing, the 96. You will have to manually insert that and then patch your tiers and the latest blocker. Done.

I have recently discovered that this will not work unless you have a virgin 103 access card. I tried a BGA card and a card that had already been used for activation. No luck. Only the cards that have never been activated are working.

The filter is already in the blocker at dssftp. This forum will not allow you to paste and I am too lazy to type it in for you. Go to dssftp >103 patches and mine is on top. The emm filter is there.

Dickwiz at the X posted some blockers lately. They have not been proven and I am not going to test for that piece of dung. I doubt they work at all. Probably locks your cam. LMFAO

It worked the last itme I used it about three weels ago. We are now using the new ST19 emu to activate irds. It is very easy to do. I will start a thread right now explaining how I did it and post the files at dssftp. Good luck.

I'm doing the ST19 emu...Did make a vigin ROM103 ...edit my camid into it and save it. then changed it to ST19.COR ...put all together in the same directory and call for activation...
logged for 2hrs and save the packets...and after that tried simulator106 and Trex but no go for me...that's why I asked a bout the activation blocker.

The activation blocker only works with a real virgin 103 cam. I tried to put a virgin image on another card and it did not work.

The ST19 is the way to go if you are set up. I doubt that you can get away with making a virgin image. It needs to be the true virgin image for that cam id.

We had the most luck using the old cemu to log with if you are going to use the stimulator.

as for the rom103 card...my unit have a card but @Rev309...thats why I'm using another card virgin image and edit the orignal camID...???

You will laugh. All I did was put the cam id into the .ini file. I did not use the ird # or even the correct ird to log with. Once I had the log I used the stimulator and activated the bin. I used the 2-chip rom 101 rewv 007 flash too. LOL>

Are you logging with the old Cemu? We never could to use logs from a DVB card or the ST19. Only the old Cemu provides the raw data you need without any changes for the stimulator. If you have that log and can not get the bin to activate, there are things to try before giving up. Update the activation date on the bin you are trying to activate to. That will help. You can insert the keys and the Roo#. Also, we ran a one hour log for twelve hours before the bin became activated. You might try letting what you have go for a bit longer and see what happens. Good luck.

what really need to know is ST19 (V2.5.28) working now with the current firmware for these PVR921's and tested with those MAX-MEL buffered emulation boards flashed with latest Atmel "2-chip rom103-rev38B code" for the 2313 chip...and NOT just the homemade MAX-MEL boards.

also,

since the PVR522/625 is very similar to the PVR921/942 and BOTH are Broadcomm based and we already can EJTAG and clone (if you make that inverter board) the PVR522/625's, but the age of the firmware was big issue for whether or NOT they can be cloned...

so what are the EJTAG options for the PVR921 with current firmware L3.32 and do we have pics of the five(5) JTAG test points and the RS232-UART points?

I am using the romcode on my rom 103. it is open and romcode write to the card. I have been using it for sometime now. But no matter hw much I erase and rewrite with Romcode 4.52 I get the 005 error.
