i tried every method mentioned so far and nothing still 005 nag, could it be becuase the autoroll is on in romcode 4.21 and even though we program the correct keys the autoroll kicks in and changes to the fake ones?

my suggestion is for romcode to:

A: allow us to turn autoroll ON and OFF in settings ourselves

B: release for the meantime a version with the correct keys in there and autoroll OFF. this shoudl only take two seconds so that those having problems can just click live update, after all people bought romcode for the simplicity.

I don't understand why, you need to do all that.

Its as simple as pie
Just open setting.ini in the romcode folder put in the correct keys in Key 0 and key 1, save and restart Romcode and program.
It doesn't get any simpler than that.

You MUST adhere to the sequence. If you start RC first THEN edit settings.ini it will not work.

1, Edit Settings.ini in the ROMCODE directory
2, At the bottom find where it says
[Keys]
KEY0=
KEY1=
AUX0=
AUX1=
3, Start Keygrabber take note of the new keys, Key0 and Key1 and copy and paste them into the file and save it.
4, Start ROMCODE
5, Click Clean Card
6, Now select your tier package from drop down, Miami or MiamiHD for the 6000
7, Click Program Card

It will open with notepad and after you put in the keys and click the X to close it will ask if you want it saved and say yes.

right click the .ini file and select open with notepad.
bottom of page paste in the current keys and click save. close it and follow above instructions, I am working on mine now with above procedure, I will let ya know how it goes.

when putting in the keys - try remove any spaces from the keys then save ini file.

Hey guy's new to this forum .been reading posts for a while now but just joined today.Ii also use romcode had alot of problems entering keys manualy got 005 nag.romcode has keys posted on thier site. I was useing iso to program with no luck used unlocker flashed with flash they said and worked no problem . Don't know for sure if the iso was the problem but it's works fine now

I am having same problem - getting 005 nag. Tried this method of changing settings.ini. I am using the private bin. I will try using my unlocker to prog.

it quit rebooting, I dont know why, might be my power source???

I had to use 4.21 version and I had to get my cam id's straight, it was telling me I was expired, I knew I was not so I had to refresh cam list from the server,
All is good now and it is working, If you used Mili's key grabber to copy keys try it again, the first set was fucked up, they are good now.
easy to do with these bad keys floating around.
The ones I posted above is the ones I am watching T and A on now...

make sure you guys are using the keys posted right above this post by fubr, i know they look the same as the ones posted above his post and evrywhere else but they are WRONG, fubrs are correct, the other ones are a few digits off

1 clean card with romcode 4.21
2 open nagramaster 3.8.1 and read card
3 Click on Get key at the top of the program
4 write the image to the card
5 reprogram card with romcode 4.21( with original settings.)

yes the romcode site has the keys added in on the bottom of the page, A nice little extra treat from the guys :)
Dont rely on them always doing that, They did it I think to make this last key change easier because the romcode has been autorolling for so long.

ok placed the new keys into settings folder

saved leaving aux0 and aux 1 blank, saved it, cleaned 3x w/ romcode
then programmed getting all red channels
what am i doing wrong

I think I know what your problem is. If you guys are useing romcodes privet bin DONT check It off in the setting before you program your card. All the private bin info. stays on the card after you clean it with romecode. So just do as everybody is telling you by putting the keys into the settings.ini. but when you go to program the card DONT check off the PRIVATE BIN in settings.

red = tiers bad, Make a new tier list and save it, when programing card select drop down and pick your tier list.
Maybe thats it, It wont let you program if you did not select a tier list so try and make a new one.
You sure you updated it?.
Also in the ini make sure tierexpiry is set to = 60 or - 90 = or even =120

I tried ohms method but after using nagramaster and writing image to card I open romcode and get error reading pre response bytes from comport.
Has anyone else had this problem?

red channels = no tiers or the date is expired.

Murdok, looks like your trying to use wrong version of romcode or the loader version maybe. or do not have netframework 2.o installed

fubr I am using romcode 4.21, I used it to clean my card then closed romcode, opened nagramaster 3.8.1 and read card, got dish keys, saved image, wrote image to card, closed nagramaster and opened romcode and that is when I got the error.

fubr and other members. checked the DaysTilltiersExpire=90 in settings, cleaned 3 times even a hard reboot. program works great on ex sub box but on the private bin i am still getting all red channels

Did they get nagramaster 3.8.1 fixed. I downloaded from milis site but when i try to run it , it says vbwhyperlink.ocx is missing or corrupted. So i used romcode to clean my card, then used na\\n2 edit to read and save image, then used dt tierworks 26.7 to get keys and modify bin, then used n2 edit to write new image back to card, then used romcode 4.21 to reprogram card. Do not check private bin. i have been up for over 24 hours, no problem what so ever. until next key change that is.

I cleaned my cam with romcode 4.(1)05 I think, whatever was last ....
downloaded 4.21 from mili's files,
edited the ini with the current keys.

opened romcode and made a new 3m named it 10-8
then I clicked program card, I never used nagramaster to write any keys.

I did not use private bin...

ok this is what i did to finally get my private bin up. first i wish to thank fubr and all others for their help. i redownloaded romcode 4.21 then i cleaned card 3x, programmed card checking box in setting for private bin. after that i went to settings entered new keys then recleaned card in romcode 3x the reprogrammed with romcode except this time left box for private bin unchecked. it seem for some reason the private bin got dropped from the card eariler in the day and that caused the red channels. hopes this helps others

Clean in Romcode
close romcode
open nagramaster 3.8.1
read card,
press dish and it updates keys
save image
write to the card
close 3.8.1,
open romcode
program without private bin

UPDATE:
If you have the box checked to use the Romcode supplied privage bin, you only need to do that once. After that BIN has been applied to the card, romcode will program your card and won't over write the BIN. You don't need to check the private bin box every time.

So here you go for the private bin users.

Program in romcode using private bin
Clean in Romcode
close romcode
open nagramaster 3.8.1
read card,
press dish and it updates keys
save image
write to the card
close 3.8.1,
open romcode
program without private bin
