How do you write another bin in romcode? Are you saying you took a bin from another PC with a romcode dir? I see private.bin and data.bin..
Pardon my ignorance but all I have ever used is romcode for 102 cards.

I believe there is a sticky in RomCode section describing how to write new keys if you are using romcode. It says to clean card with Romcode. Open card with N2Edit and save image. Open Tierworks and write new keys. Then modify bin and write over saved image. Then write image to card with N2Edit. Then program with romcode. This is the long way to do a key change, but it worked for me. Before, I had the same problem. No Key 1 found. I tried everything with Romcode but could not get the Key 1 to write. Used the long method and it worked. Good luck.

While the ini file method of changing keys is quick, it is obviously problematic with some cards, mine included. Maybe Mili can contact the RomCode people and report this problem. I don't mind using the method described in the Sticky, I just hate fooling around with my card. I only have one and would hate to screw it up. Mili, if you have a chance, can you check on this No Key 1 issue? Thanks.

Thanks LocoMex I was able to get running the way you described. I was surprised that programming again with RC didn't remove the key. Maybe whatever is in the stream takes it off these certain cards. Mine was rev103 BTW. I am in the same boat as you with only one card and really not wanting to loop it. Hope RC udates their software to mend this problem.

ok got key 1 to work, clean card in rc, open n2edit read card save image, open up dt teir works, open key to bin, get keys, if it errors out put in the keys, save and write mod bin then open back up n2edit write bin back to card, check n-master to see if you have key 1. program with rc no bin, select your teirs,
make sure before you go threw the steps you have current updated tiers and not the old one or it will not work. most of all of us put the updated teirs in the ini of rc so we are ok, but I wrote my original bin back to the card so I had the old keys and did not pay attention to check and see if I had the new key in n-master. so be sure to check, good luck

Bunch of cards and all worked with either method! I don't doubt you, but I have no thought as to what the problem could be. I go back and check the .ini file and both keys are there!

Thank you Mili for your input. I knew that we're not the only ones that has problems with the ini method. I'm gonna wait for romcode's new update. Don't feel like messing with nagedit on the other methods of updating the key. I'm watching my FTA's in the meantime and waiting for romcode.

Hi guys, just use Nagramaster 3.8 after clean with Romcode here is how
1) clean card in romcode
2) read card with nagramaster3.8
3) click the key icon on top (this will grab the keys and write them to the bin)
4) write bin to card
5) program card in Romcode (don't select private bin), only thing you have to do is select tiers and hit program
6) watch tv :D
