On most loaders, 1&6 are for programming the Atmel, and switches 2&5 are for programming the card. If I remember correctly, this applied to my old T911 as well.

i appreciate that. i am just about to use rom code , after renewing . the last round we used an iso programmer . this time it's a loader. i actually read the detailed instructons , but , it kinda skimped on the loader use. good thing i had one ! i only used it in the past to unlock my card. thanks to you and SJ . :)

On some modded T911...sw04 to glitch thanks . i have unlocked with my t911 before , and sometimes used 3 alone as well. this will be my first programming with the loader , and really wanted all my ducks in a row before starting . easier to ask before i screw up the card. thanks. [ anything else i should know ? ]

well , after a frustrating couple of days , i can't even get rc to realize that there is a card in the loader , let alone program the card. i must have missed some info somewhere . could someone please point me to it ? the iso programmer sure was simpler , and certainly should be ! i see others are up . a nudge please . thanks in advance .

I guess you have flashed your loader with NewdRS?

Why are you switching from an iso to a loader in the 1st place? I leave my loader where it belongs when I am not unlocking. Too many scew ups can happen in my opinion. It is more invasive by nature and affords you nothing over an iso with RC and a 102.

i didn't want to switch , but for once , i read the detailed instructions , and it referred to a newdRS flash. something not done to an iso programmer. after a lot of reading and a reply from romcode , and help from mili , all is well . thanks to all who responded to my dilemna . [ i gotta get a dictionary for that word ] . heh heh heh .;)
