Do I edit in the tier editor, select the locals I want and save as a new tier file to select when I program, or is there a way to add them to the .tp file somehow(and if so where do I find the text to paste in).

I have a 301.010 with a rom 102 card and would like as many sets of locals or even just fox's(love the simpsons) as possible.

Thanks in advance!

You can add quite a few. I was adding them when people were complaining about NFL. Of course, you can only see a limited number that are not in your spotbeam, and that's because they are on the main satellite. Just try it and see. :)

It sort of depends on your location how many you can add and expect to see, but you can add quite a few to "your tier list"!

You just put a check mark next to your real locals in the tier editor. You can also get network stations in LA, NY, CHI, DEN, and Atlanta. They are nationals that are not on the spotbeam.

Then under settings, just click on what channels ( nearest major city ) you want to be your locals. If you are within a 300 mile radius of another city, you might want to check those locals. In addition to my regular locals, I have all the above cities and two other cities I pick up on the spotbeam. You never know what you might pick up on the spotbeam, so it's worth it to check as many cities near you as you can think of.

I get almost all NFL football games, so properly set up, it's like having The NFL season ticket.

Do NOT put a checkmark to anything in the tier editor that says; " is included in 3M." That causes an error message in the program.
