No quality

I have an 18 inch dish, one lnb and no disceq switch. Short run of RG 6 to my 2500a pansat.

I have no quality on the horizontal transponders, but have excellent quality on all the vertical transponders. I only watch the 91 bird.

What is wrong? Why don't I have any quality on the horizontal transponders?

In my setup my TP scan only shows V & H transponders.

My setup was working fine and I was receiving both V & H fine, but we had some wicked thunder and lightning storms go through the past 3 weeks and now I cannot receive any of the H transponders.

I did some more reading on this and discovered that when lnb's fail, they usually get "stuck" in one polarization and I think this is what has happened. Now I need to purchase a new lnb and get the ladder out this weekend for some repair work.

Just hope it doesn't rain this weekend.
