Lock code on receiver

My romcode is working but I am locked out of some channels I guess the person before me had a lock code how do I fix this problem and get the lock code to reset on the receiver

write a clean tsop and eeprom image to it and all should be swell.....I am sure there are other way to do but this way you get rid of anything and start all NEW

Might a hard reset work??

I believe the locks will stay not sure though ...in prvious versions of s/w you were able to read the p/w from the info posted when you do this before reseting but I belive now it to be diff.

Ok I got my new jtag today can someone please tell me what I need to do to unlock this box without messing any thing up I am using romcode

I have a 301-013

I used Wiem32.exe to read password from tsop (sorry eprom) no need to re write

Where can I post the file here , just read eeprom (with jkeys)and it gives you the pass word and all other info

Just J-tag it, read epprom, save Epprom dump as a Text file by using notepad and Use a software call "Hex workshop". I'm not sure if they have it here in the file section. Open up Hex workshop and open the EEprom dump that you saved. Look on the right hand side for a 4 numerical numbers on or close to addy 00000318. Those four numbers should be the password. Some 301.13's are impossiblt to jtag my 301.13 is one of them. I have no problems jtaging other receivers just this one.

must make sure you have the vidmod....I assume you do but just in case....
