iam using romcode 4.23 with a usb to serial connecter on a new computer i got, then i get the error message unknown or supported cam type. on my old computer it worked fine. and my card was previously programed with romcode 4.23 on my old computer it worked flawlessly, can anyone please help.

Those USB serial adapters do not work most of the time. Every computer is diff, but general rule is those adapters are not good. I would bet that is your problem.

However you might be able to tweek romcode to compensate. In the settings, change read byte delay to 100 and try that. Then try changing command delay to 100. Play with those settings and see if that make a diff.

Had the same problem. It's the adapter.The only times it has ever said that is when I tried that adapter and when I put an HU in for fun.
