I think its a problem with your cable.. I'm sure the fortec uses the normal db9 to db9 serial cable. Not the null modem one.

I Am really sorry, Guys... But, Fortec Ultra uses STRAIGHT THROUGH, 9 PINS, FEMALE-FEMALE cable to be exact!!!

Your right calin.. Fortec does not use a null modem cable. Aswell as pansat and pantec.. straight thru like calin says.

Alright, this is what I Did : I have Multistar Pantec Ultra and a Fortec lifetime Ultra(both clones) That I just REPROGRAMED on this very moment 8:00PM Used a NULL 9 Pin Male to male. Now I know for a fact that pansat 2500A original use Straight cable, but all clones use NULL , just like Coolsat use it solution for sunny is simple: Just try the other cable (oposite to what He is using) use it with Black list loader (I bet that He has a clone receiver) And everything will be fine The fack is that i use a NULL CABLE. ( NULL , NULL)
