I'm not trying to be a jerk, but you have a respectable amount of posts to your credit. I can't beleive you're asking a very basic question without searching for your answer within this forum for help. Look for the 'stickies' in this same forum that you posted. Read anything and everything by crow492...he da (FTA) man!

So I'll take that as you know that answers but don't want to tell me LOL
That's my favourite part of the hobby!
Have read Crow's sticky's, and Teach's
but I wasn't sure which was the best PGM to use right now
in the sticky it says
ViewsatUSA_V77.PGM”
but I know there are others and wasn't sure which to use
but never mind someone else alreay pmed with some help
thanks anyhow ;)

Not that anyone cares but .....up and running!
just in case anyone is as dumb as me here is the pgm I used
DBPSW_061007CS_XTREME.PGM
didn't autoroll but entered keys manually

Hardest part was putting in cables and switch in freezing rain
and figuring out how to enter F key on remote!
Gonna put valuable scary plastic on ice and play with this for a while...kinda fun The epg seems to suck but maybe I haven't programmed it right yet
Anyway if it goes down big time well there is always True FTA or REal FTA or whatever it is called, right?
thanks to Tinhorse for help
and Crow and Teach's excellent stickies

not sure if this will help , but here it goes , i just got a pansat2700 ..... i loaded it with the latest software , then afterwards i went in and disabled auto roll .

i suspect you might have to do the same thing , instal the autoroll bin , then later go through the menu's on the reciever and disable autoroll

For your EPG set your time in and date see if that gives you a better EPG.

I know with my Pansat I stay in the hour for EPG.
