View Full Version : How to remarry ROM102
Can anybody point me to the right sirections?
My ROM102 was married (not an ex-sub) to the DP301.013 but then it was
cleaned to a virgin state and now when I insert it into receiver it gives me
message "Your receiver is not subscribed yet. Please call ......".
It there something i can do to remarry CAM to receiver without j-tagging my receiver? Like add SK to the CAM? Thanks in advance.

its suppose to say that, youwrote a virgin img to the card with no tiers and probably no blocker. If the card came with the receiver and it was never subbed then its not married yet. If it was subbed then it has receiver information already on the card. So you need to figure out what it is first, before you proceed. Theres public info you can use or you and use GENDT08 Program to mod tsop.but beforewe get into all this get your facts right on what card you have and if it was ever subbed. Some 301-13's need vid mod before you can write back to tsops... Doa search here and read up on how to modify your unmarried receiver and card plenty of helpful information here..
good luck
Receiver and card were never subbed but were "married" by j-tagging and were working with penga's blocker. Then before they were given to me all information from the card was erased - it's rev 103 with no blocker, no tiers, no receiver number and boxkeys and no DT, not even zip code. Is it enough if I just add my receiver number and boxkey to the card? Where can I find info on programming with public info?
ge2, you need to patch the card with your tiers and IRD info and then apply a blocker. You will need to retrive the IRD info first. If this does not make sense to you, then you have a lot of reading to do before you do anything. If you make a mistake, you will turn that card into a $250 ice scraper. There is alot to know about programing that card safely. http://bellexpress.vu/rom.html is a good place to start.
Ask the person you got it from if they saved the old BIN. That would make your life a lot easier.

Unless something has changed in the last few months a 301-013 will not work on
b3v.
Has to be set up for Di$h.

OK - after doing lots of reading I decided to go with the "public" info. but I'm still a little confused. I undesrtood that I have to use NoRSA TSOP mod for my receiver if I want to use public - but I did not find any instructions on how to prepare NoRSA TSOP. Also, it this correct that I don't have to marry card using gendt08 if I use public/NoRSA? I just write public AIO bin to my
card and change Rec# and boxkeys on my original TSOP and write it back?
Can somebody point me to the instructions for public info programming?
Thanks to all who replied.
