What LNB selection should I be choosing?

I have this type of LNB:Digiwave Dual DSS LNB

The selections available are: Single, Univeral, OCS, OCS-DP, Legacy Twin LNB1, Legacy Twin LNB2, Legacy Quad LNB1, Legacy Quad LNB2.

I get a great signal strength of 98 for them all except Universal, OCS and OCS-DP.

I have 2 receivers and 2 LNBs, so far I can only get 119. I think I may have to use a DisQec switch instead of the SW21. I found a diagram on here, but again I neve see any mention of a Dual Dss LNB.

The proper setting is single.

I am going to take the cables apart and hook up directly to the 110 lnb and see what I get.

The lnb with the 2 exposed wires in your photo should be 119 and the other with the wires out of sight is 110. Is that how you have it set up?

That is how I have it set up. I disconnected the wires to 119 and it is still coming in. I am going to out in a few minutes to align the dish to 110 and then hoping 119 will fall into place, is that correct?

I was using 119 and then came across this bracket, I figured I would just hook it up and bingo, both sats, but I was wrong.

no, you bring in 119 and then 110 falls into place, not the other way round. If you are using a switch take it out of the equation for now.

I already had 119, but it was tuned to the lnb with the unexposed wires. I will try to find it now using the lnb with the exposed wires.

I tuned in the dish to 119 on the exposed lnb, then hooked up cable to other lnb with no switch. I couldn't get a signal out of 110. I will ask the dealer tomorrow what I am doing wrong. I know it isn't the LNB because I tuned 110 on the right one by itself.

Made similiar mistake, on settings make sure 1 is set for legacy dual and sw 21 switch is 1, the other bird should be sw 21-2 hope this helps

if you have them both set to the same switch then you will only recieve the bird that you programmed for that sw number

Hi guys, thanks for all the support. I gave up on the bracket deal and just bought another 18" dish, but also a tripod so I can take the dish camping with me. I could never get 91 on my other dish, not sure of the location of the dish or not, but this time we set up the tripod and dish and within 30 minutes or so we got 91, it would have been faster if we had a sat finder. Now I am getting 110 on the original dish and 91 on the new one.

Today I need to bury the wires, an easy task with an electric edger for the lawn.
