viewsat extreme channels info help

Using viewsat extreme with 110-110-148 sat,I'm getting lots of same channels,like they repeating. I'm getting like 4-5 of each channel .Also, on top of bin file and sat info file do I have to apply CHAN INFO FILE in order to recieve guide???

You are getting repeted channels because: either you got a bad bird setup, bad switch configuration, you are downloading your channels whitout doing a factory default. The guide, I understand you could get it from some where in Echo 7 -119-. Simple as this: make a factory default, upload the last working bin (due to some problems, I would recomend 23AS -manual entry keys-). Do you want to fix something else, first upload the factory bin then the working bin, then a scan all, one bird at the time, double check your switch settings, fix the timezone for your area, fix the clock, you should be good to go, including the EPG.
