Anyone know when we will see a new autoroll for romecode, Please reply if you have any info, my subcription is almost up and im not sure wheather i will renew ...
It does seem like we should get some extensions on our subscription since we arent' rolling these days. At least the blocker, which counts more than anything else, is still working great. Got to take the good with the bad I guess. My experience with the RomCode guys is they will not cut any slack or give any deals no matter what. So that's probably what we should expect on this issue as well. I certainly wouldn't renew until we know for sure RomCode is safely rolling.
they said after a key roll and they test what they got so far they may enable some autorolling for it
I can tell you that the romcode coders care more about cards not being looped than they do about end user inconvenience. They have announced that they will not enable autoroll until such time as they can be comfortable that the cards are not at risk. I for one appreciate this thoughtfulness and suggest continued use of the product which has proven over time to be one of the best solutions out there.
One can pull the card and have it done and back in the IRD in less than 20 seconds. As long as this is not every hour, I’m happy.
Even Mrs. Fubr did one with me giving her verbal instructions, still took less than 3 minutes.
I told her ok open romcode, click settings, save when a box pops up and close settings, close and reopen romcode but stick card in the blue thingie thats plugged up behind pc.
Select tiers in the drop down that has the latest date and , (look OHMS)-----> clean card<----, then program card and go see what is on the detective channel or fuckin Oprah or whatever she needed to watch for me to get lucky that night :) :) :)

RomCode still rocks, IMHO!
Better safe than sorry!
I certainly didn't mean to diss RomCode either. It's by far the easiest way to go. A little pricy IMO, but well worth it at the same time. I would much rather see them doing things like they are rather than letting potentially harmful EMM's pass. After reading my earlier post thought I should make this clear. RomCode is a fantastic product even without autoroll.

RC is as good as it gets these days IMHO.
I remember this fairly expensive little box that your HU card went into and it auto dialed up somwhere in CA (CADSS I think sold it) and did it all for you in a couple of miniutes. That was very wife friendly. Since I was on the road most of the time then it was a life (or wife) saver for sure! RC seems to be the modern day equil to that little toy and in comparision is cheep and well worth the fee again IMHO.
