Mili,

What is the best solution for testing on a cardless receiver which was a ex-everything pak subscribtion. Can I buy a new card and use rom code on it , or its best to buy another 510 with rom 102/103 and just subscribe to the rom code blocker.

Lets say I buy a new 510 with a virgin card. Can rom code be used with it or do I have to buy an unlocked card as well?

Do a search for your model number. Yes, you can hack the receivers with the internal cams. It's a little harder, but well within the realm of doable.

Doubt he can hack it, a subbed receiver will be a very high rev number and unglitchable.......

Lemme rephrase my question in point form. Any advice appreciated.

I was an ex everything pak sub, and am looking to sub Romcode. I have a few questions before I subscribe.
1. If I buy a Virgin or used ex-sub 510 carded receiver from ebay can I use the card that comes with it to use with romcode? Which version does it have to be?
2. If I have to buy a new card which one do I have to buy and is the ISO programmer which worked with the blue cards(3.68) good enough for this or do I need to buy a new programmer/glitcher.
3. Does the tiers offer option for cricket/ppv?

From the sounds of your questions I believe you should just goto Mili's store, to prevent getting bit on Flea Bay. Get a 510 with an "unlocked" ,"married" card, use your ISO and get a ROMCode subscription and your in like flint. Sure the price is a little steep but you won't get burned! and you'll be enjoying (free) TV in no time.

I would suggest that you simply buy a 102 rev 108 or lower....the price has dropped drasticly in the last 2 week's...there selling for $125---$150 right now. ...you need a unlocker...or a bud that can do it for you...and a Jtag ...and your set to roll....
